You don’t need a diesel or the maintenance, ford 6.2 f-250 will pull anything you need to and get not far off to the 7.3 milage wise. 6.2’s go 300,000 pretty easily with not much maintenance. Oil change will be 60$ vs 200$ with. 2 1/2 gallons of oil and filters ect. Unless pulling heavy all the time like every day diesel isn’t necessary. In fact lots of hot shotters up here have gone to 250/350 7.3 gas wirh 4:30’s and 10 speeds. All the new buses at school up here are bluebird propane/gas powered wirh 7.3 fords and they drag 70 kids around on a heavy bus every day.
