Just got off the phone with my insurance agent. Probably not going to get a invitation to his 4th of July party now. I did stop short of telling him to kiss my dik and balls.
Insurance is a scam 90% of the time.

I had to check what I bought on ebay.
Doesn't seem like I bought the Walbro kits there, but there's something that's been going on in my head LS one way or another.

Positives in my mess, last chainsaw for cleaning, I had a little more 254 than I thought, and more in 40/44/444 than I suspected.

Since my life consists of doing microscopic, I'm going to put some in 40 and 444, something I already have since they share a little from 238 & 254.

Yup, good old days are gone.
From the almost 6 years I was away it has certainly changed a lot.
Before I could find a gem here and there, not often though. Now I see 3-6 x prices and no gems to see either.

I haven't calculated prices on my 346 xpg build from scratch and with mostly nos parts. And I had the top end from the good times + crankcase, top cover, handle to give away price.
But the project will probably cost a new 550xpg mk2.

Yes, sadly in the not so normal, new normal we are living in, parts when available can be too costly to justify the means, especially on the smaller saws. As well as the extended waiting for parts only proves to aggravate all involved.

Someone completely forgot to tighten the trans fluid pump bolts in the torque converter housing..
I don't know the inside of transmissions, I am assuming you are talking about what looks like the boogered up threads? Did they just work themselves out and cause a failure?

He's talking about the next picture.....those bolts with the red fluid on them. They were left loose.

What Tennessee said.

What you circled are the torque converter bolts. If those left the chat it wouldn't move at all, plus due to lack of real estate in the bellhousing would probably be creating all sorts of broken things.

You need a tranny helper Ed?

Are you officially applying for the position?

Ok, that makes sense. I appreciate the information!

@redline4 did Lord of the Wrench happen to move to Canada? My Explorer is at the dealership after having some AC lines replaced, needs an alignment before all is said and done. Alignment rack was “locked up” all day with a difficult job so I have to wait until tomorrow…

A YouTuber wrecked that, *b-wordin' about how much Husqvarna's kit prices were and how cheap they could be had from Walbro for common carburetors. So, the two of them colluded, Husqvarna dropped their price some and Walbro raised their price so they are the same from Walbro as Husqvarna. Anyone reselling for a profit will be more yet. Oh, and the YouTuber claimed Victory that kits could be bought from Husqvarna. When in reality, they lost the cheaper alternative from Walbro. Brilliant!
What's the D bags name?
