Gets expensive and the closest vet is a pretty good ways. When you’ve raised hounds, you get used to nasty stuff!Better yet pay the vet to do it![]()
I’ve always done the external. Not sure why, but females tend to have more trouble with it. Not sure if males use it to mark their territory more so it doesn’t get stopped up or what.I’ve seen those vids there’s 2 ways internal and external.I’ve done the external on a dog we had that kept dragging her ass .
I’m glad I didn’t have to do it often![]()
The positive thing is that it has been painless so far, and that the abscess burst. There is nothing to indicate that she is sick, she is herself 100%, eating, drinking, and is a clown. Now all that is needed is to cure her with antibiotics, and she is also going to the vet in 14 days for the emptying of the anal gland. That’s not good. We have one *b-word that tends to stay impacted if we don’t stay on top of things. It’s a nasty procedure but keeping it “expressed” keeps it from getting infected. Fat content in the food can make a difference. She is on a low fat food for other reasons. I’ll leave it to you to YouTube it. Wear gloves and DO NOT DO IT INDOORS!
On a MS390, the piston got battered by foreign material and stuck the top ring. Saw was very well used and not worth the effort. What happened to it?
It can happen to anything, there's plenty of them out in the bone yard too. Have a used husky inbound with bad compression, hopefully it can be fixed, so it can be ported. So, you should stick with Huskies?![]()

The other a MS260 was in for porting and did not make the grade, with hitches in the bottom bearings and such. Another direction was deemed prudent.
