I love me some stihl but I can’t believe that is worth that kind of money. I guess you really gotta want a 440.

I love me some stihl but I can’t believe that is worth that kind of money. I guess you really gotta want a 440.

There was one on eBay not so long ago that went for $1980 + shipping, had no box but a full wrap and a 32“ bar/chain! Those things are collector level stuff for sure.

Lol, The 1025 is still the current model and the best sub compact :dogpile:. That isn’t the case with the 440 though.

What's a couple hundred more than a new 70cc saw for one you like more than the newest flavor, especially if you make money with your equipment.

I know, Just seems nuts.
Not to me, I have equipment that cost a lot more :aplastao:. Like I said, if you like them it's not much more, and if you've been running them for yrs, know them, and have parts under the bench, it makes more sense than buying a saw that may need to go to the dealer if you have problems with it.
I've always liked my ported 440, great saws.
