New to forum saying hello!

Hey there folks. I'm active from time to time on AS and have been checking out this forum for a little while but never registered until now. There seems to be a lot of great info here along with some saw savvy folks! I work as an assistant station foreman for a wildland fire crew in north idaho and run a small 2 stroke shop also in north idaho. Just thought I would pop in and say helloooo!

No doubt beautiful part of the country right there. I’d get in a place like that hunting, fishing, etc and probably never wanna leave...until that white stuff started piling up about three/four feet. Then it’d be time to head on back to GA.

That there is the north fork of the clearwater river. It's not too far from the fork of the selway and clearwater rivers. Pretty cool country over there, the fishing is usually pretty good but lately our Chinook salmon runs have been poor. Steelhead isn't much better. Plenty of whitetail and mule deer though, they're like weeds out here. Elk hunting was good in the past but not so much anymore. We do get several feet of snow, although it doesn't get as cold as Minnesota territory. My shop is up above the south fork of the clearwater, it's a little bit steeper but still pretty nice.
