Have a 266se with intermittent and weak spark. Never tested a two piece ignition before. I know how to ohm test a regular single coil, but don't know how this type of ignition works, not the testing procedure. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance...

To be perfectly honest, I have not seen one that after replacing the bad part that it didn't come back about a month later with the other side out. I recommend replacing the entire ignition.
I test with a Merc-O-Tronic 79 ignition tester, to determine which side is bad, generating module or ignition coil.
Coils and modules are still available from Husqvarna the last I knew for the 266.
