Need Help Stihl 048

I am in need of the muffler screws for a Sthil 048 if you could supply the sizes needed or if you have some I can purchase it would be greatly appreciated

Already typing, man. I know I picked up a pair of bolts to replace the screws from my local Ace, they were approx. 3 inches long and had an 8mm head. According to the ipl the threads are M5x72, but I'm guessing they mean M5x7.2 Post up a pic of your muffler, there are two different p/n's for two different types of mufflers. Honestly, I'd ask your local Stihl dealer as ebay will charge you $3 + shipping for a screw that costs 79 cents at your dealer.

Depends on the muffler I think .From the 048 parts list the one piece muffler is M5 by 72 The two piece is M5 by 65 .The bottom screws are M 5 by 16. According to the IPL they actually list four different mufflers .One of those lists M5 by 55 ,called a firesafe muffler
