12 years ago in the early, still in the sack, Daniel came home from wholesale paper route. 2:40 or so I came back and found he had killed himself. I've got almost no emotions left for much of anything. He was the joy of my life. So a lot was expressed over a few months. Just a note on this date of history. No guessing of what could been, glad to have been his dad

I'm sorry for your loss Tony. I've never lost a child but lost a brother and mother. I keep them in my memories of things we used to do together. Me and my eldest brother like to hunt and fish together, lost the battle to cancer. Me and mom love to do wood working together, lost the battle to Alzheimer. To this day I don't do wood working, not the same without mom, we were very close.

Thanks for sharing. Death truly sucks and will one day be vanquished. Words are truly too empty to help you. All you can do is put one foot in front of the other. Im sorry for your loss, ordeal, and unanswerable questions. I wish i could help you bear this. Eventually the pain will lessen, life goes on, and hopefully you will begin caring about things again although surely with a new perspective about what is truly important. It took a power greater than me to carry me across that part of the sandy beach. A portion was when I thought " I"ll never........again" but it did happen, happily, before. Evened stuff out, recommended for your use as required

Sorry for your loss. I can empathize with some of your feelings with the loss of an immediate loved one by suicide. PM me if you ever need to chat or whatever. If you want we can talk on the phone. I'm very open about my story in the right context of certain people. Or maybe just knowing there is another suicide survivor around might be a bit of help. We go through way different things than other people.
