My first new truck………....ever!

After driving used trucks for my entire life, I finally got a new one.
I bought this yesterday and am picking it up on Monday.
The supply of new diesel trucks has caught up with demand and dealers around me are offering some pretty hefty discounts on high end option packages. I guess they figure they’ll get their money back when all of the electronical crap starts breaking.
4wd GMC 2500 Denali diesel short bed.
I hope I’m smart enough to figure out how to drive it. The dash display looks like a f’ing emoji menu.

You'll notice how much taller they are the first time you open the hood and then reach up to close it..

With all of the steps around the bed, I was surprised there wasn’t one in the front bumper, just for that purpose.

I spent years using the rear tires as steps.
I was pretty happy when I saw the bumper steps.
