You have the right one. Just gotta give it a rub and it still lines up with the roller. No need on the west coast cover.

They make an outer that lines up with the stock inner if you like, I'm a fan of the 064 dawgs on them for hardwood personally.

Thanks for the info, I also have the inner spike. At sole point I may pick up the other cover just because, may give the 064 spikes a go, I did like those when I was messing around with a 064 [emoji111]

There's no issue with the west coast cover when you add the larger dawgs..it's weird..I know.

I like the shape of the bottom of the dawgs on the 064 set. They don't bite as hard, which obviously isn't needed for hardwoods.

That outer to match the stock inner is cheap.

When I initially ordered the kit my dealer only got that outers spike, but I said no I wanted the whole kit with the roller catcher lol.

Anyway about a minute grinding and she's together, no biggie I was just wondering if I got the wrong one or not. Thanks for the quick response.

Looks much more usable, I run into a lot of gnarly old trees, so I like the bigger more aggressive spikes. And yes they look cooler.[emoji123]

The 064 spikes are a perfect match for the 462, for those of us not on the west coast. The stock spikes will occasionally allow the engine case to rub on knots/bark, and the saw will tip forward with a 25"+ bar mounted. The 661 sized spikes are a bit too large for my taste. The 064 spikes are more rounded on the bottom, and are easier to use while bucking firewood. Got the idea from sawmikaze. Thx for the tip btw.

I think that is the wrong spike. My guy got me outer spike # 1142-664-0501 for both my 462s, fit w/o any issues.

Hold up...here are the numbers you want for inner and outer. I'm not sure if there's a number for the whole kit on the 064 with both dawgs and a roller..but..if you want the inner and outer here you go :

And buy the west coast cover if you don't already have it.

The 1122 664 0504 (066) is replaced by 1122 664 0500 on the 064. There is no complete kit with both spikes chain cover and roller catcher. You can buy a kit for the 064 with the large sprocket cover, the outer spike and the roller chain catcher (1122 640 1711) used for 064 R and 064 RW.

What good is the outer dawg without the inner as a kit ?

I thought the 0500 is replaced by the 0504?
The 0504 is standard "small" spike for the 661s. From the pictures its the same thing though.

Yea, I did not see that specified, so I did not realize at first.

S/B a nice set up. Love both my 462s!
