In another thread that I created regarding bar wear, someone mentioned an HO oiler for my 460, or modifying the stock oiler.
I have always thought (with all my saws) that I would prefer the gas/oil tanks emptied at the same time.
My 460 uses about 3/4 tank of oil to a tank of gas.

Can someone direct me to raising the oil consumption?

On most larger stihls, if you flip the saw over there is a little drawing on the bottom of the tank near the clutch that has a little oil symbol on it. You put a screwdriver in that hole and turn it whatever direction it tells you to up the oil output. If you want to mod your current oiler, there is probably a video on youtube on how to drill your saw's oiler stuff. If you want a high output oiler, I know that farmertec makes a high output oiler for a little more $ than a normal one.
