Got it. My mistake - I honestly didn't think I was breaking any rules by responding to a wanted posting... I will remove my response, though. I have learned a lot already and hopefully can provide help to others in the future.

Nothing against replying to a post, rules state you can't list an item for 100 posts, offering something up is fair game in my book, I encourage anyone to use PayPal goods and services when paying for items.

That was my take on it when I read the classified rules. It's ok though, I don't want to create issues early in my posting career on this forum - easy enough to remove it and move on. Agree with your comment on Paypal - I also prefer, when possible, to speak with a buyer/seller when possible. Not everyone is willing to do that, but it is much easier to come to a mutual understanding on condition, expectations, etc when discussing 1:1 vs. email, chat, etc. Not just chainsaws, but anything really... I have only bought one used saw, and never sold one!
