Ms 361 coil

I’ve been looking on eBay at 361 coils and see two listed weather that’s right or not I don’t know. I see one that’s 1300 for the last 4 and one that’s 1308 in fact Dave is selling the 1308 one but anyone know the between the two? Fixing neighbors saw and don’t want to really put a china one in. Was going to buy one a few weeks ago off eBay and got busy on other things. I see a few of the 1300 ones marked 50-90$ new and the other are more and the neighbor is an older thrifty gentleman.

What do the IPL say? Any notation on there?

I guess I haven’t looked closely at the ipl thought someone migh know off the top of their head. All I know is the farmertec coil I put in it awhile back didn’t last all that long and the saw was a turd with it. Lazy acceleration and didn’t seem to have the power it should like it had retarded timing and that is supposed to replace the 1300 coil I believe.

The 1135 400 1300 ignition module was replaced by 1135 400 1308. This newer ignition module has the torsion spring and the spark plug boot already installed and a new contact spring 1135 442 1601 is included. If this is used on an older MS 361, the new contact spring has to be installed.
