Did the 025 or 250 ever come with single open transfers?

I am working on a 034 like that, and an 034 super that has closed transfers.

Of the examples I have seen, 025 had single open transfers, MS250 had quad open transfers.
I don't know if this change came about with the intro of the MS250 or if there was a running production change.
Also note that early 025 had a 42mm bore. Later 025 and all MS250 had a 42.5mm bore.
