If anyone is interested in a Montgomery Ward chainsaw, I have one for free to whoever wants to cover shipping. This is essentially a McCulloch 610. I think it even runs. I will grab some pics shortly.

Just curious if you know where this saw came from? My grandpa had a very similar saw (if not the same one) that went to my uncle after my grandpa passed in '95 . I just asked my uncle a month ago if he still had it thinking it's something I would like to have one day. He said he sold it awhile ago. My uncle lives up near Green Bay in Saumico.

I’m going to try to start it tomorrow. Gotta buy a bar/chain before I can get it in the wood and also needs chain brake. Will post video when time comes.

Pull the carb and clean and kit it, fuel line and filter. Get it running before putting any money in a bar and chain.
