I picked this up from @Cat 525 back in December. I had a slew of firewood jobs at the time and bought this as a backup to my other 359, which limped on through all the oak and madrone. This saw has sat since he shipped it to me.

$575/shipped and insured to the 48 states.

I have a 562 from Randy and was going back and forth between bar lengths depending on climbing/bucking so I figure I could give the shorter 24” bar to this saw. That 562 pulls 28” too well.

I’m headed to a meeting but will check back this afternoon if it’s still available. Is it running well currently?

I never fueled it up. I highly doubt Tim would have sold it to me if it wasn't running right, as he's pretty well known around here.

I forgot the 359 is K095 small mount. Which is great, but not what I was hoping to simplify with the 562 bars—my bad
I have a ported 359 that I run a 24” bar on for reach. It pulls it great and screams with 20”. @Duke Thieroff sells a 24” k095 for a great price if you need a bar.

Tim is one of my favorite people that I've ever encountered on the internet, we can talk on the phone for an hour and not miss a beat.

But I think he gets *s-wordty gas or whoever he got the 2260 from that I bought off of him did, the carb diaphragms turned in to saltines and it wouldn't even draw a prime.

Start it up, make sure.

I missed out on that bit of excitement. Thanks for the info.

Got out a little while ago and threw some e-free 32:1 in the MMWS359. From dry, it started on the 5th pull on choke and first pull off choke. I idled it for a minute then shut it down and let it sit for 15 minutes. It fired back up on the first pull. Ill drain the fuel in the morning and run it dry.

To whomever buys this saw, be careful around the dogs. Tim must file the damn things! I barely touched the outside edge of the tip and sliced my thumb open.

I forgot to add that the fuel filter on this saw is getting dirty and about ready to be replaced.

I'll call it $575/shipped and insured to the 48 states. Heading down the mountain tomorrow and can ship it out then.

That looks like a great 1-saw plan.

It would also be great in a 3-saw plan, 5-saw, or for somebody who just likes chainsaws a lot.

If I had any firewood to cut at the moment, I'd probably be giving it a whirl. My pallets are almost all full, and there's still split wood lying on the ground, so.....I took care of two of my summer firewood clients earlier in the year, as they both had multiple cords of wood that came down in storms and needed the cleanup then.
