Met up with a tree climbing buddy today. Met him at a gtg back in 2013 and our paths have crossed a couple times over the years. Got a 440 im building for him. He invited me to come to this log pile and mill some walnut. We split what we milled with the property owner. I got some really nice slabs from the job! Used my Granberg Alaskan MKIII 36" and tried out the Granberg winch. Made the job a lot easier. They were using a double ended Canon bar with 395's on both ends! My 066 held its own!

How thick did you cut the slabs ?

Beautifull grain, nice job !!

How did you get 10 full size pictures in the origional post ?
The larger logs were milled at 2.5" the smaller were 2".

I use TapaTalk not sure if that's how I was able to load so many pics.
