These are for sale local to me and not expensive, but I'm not terribly familiar with McCulloch. Anyone want to take a guess on model numbers? Anything decent here?
The one without a cover is not a McCulloch, probably a Skil. The newer one is a 610/650/Timber Bear derivative. There is one that is a 1-40/1-43 derivative and the one with the longest bar might be a 44.
I am guessing the red box one is a 200 or 250. These are listed around 80cc, but not some of the more popular from what I hear. I picked up a 200 as a project saw and it has been fun to tear down and rebuild. Parts for them are still relatively easy to find. Several guys (here on the forum) are making reproduction gaskets and carb kits. @heimannm should be able to identify these for sure.
Its a good thing I don't live near there, I would probably end up buying the two larger saws. I have found McCulloch saws fun to work on!!
Bill, I think you are correct, I was thinking it looked a bit like my D-44, but there are differences between the two with the air filter portion of the cover, I think this one is a Super 44.
