Got that 7910 coming to me soon.
Looking for a 32'' LW.
Was hoping to find An Oregon LW but everyone I could find don't have any in stock.
Wanted something lighter than a Sugi. Can't find any TusuMara with that mount and length.

Put a Stihl light on it with an adapter.
That saw is better suited for a 28 imo. Got a 28 Total on one here.

The Stihls ......was thinking about that too. Wasn't wanting to do an adapter route. Maybe I will.....

If you have Stihl saws and bars you need far less hanging around if you get a 12mm slot with dual mount holes or drill a bar to match that Sugi mount they sell. I have that Sugi lw 32" in 063 375 chain but with dual tail setup. Also run them on other saws without the adapter some days with a 24" bar. No issues.

You really think that 79cc Rattler won't pull 32? Was also thinking of runnin semi of full skip for less drag in the cut.
If I really should run a 28, I thin I saw a LW tusumara somewhere.

Anyone know where the Tsumura bars line up on the weight scale?
Ex :1. Stihl
2. Oregon
3. Sugi

Even a stock 7900 will run and oil a 28" bar pretty well. Power here certainly ain't the problem. The full wrap 7900 I ran with a Sugi LW 28" in oak and DF did fine and handled OK. AV's were squishy.......

For me they're extremely nose heavy with a 32" (even with the full wrap). Haven't had enough experience with the spaceship Dolkitas running longer bars to comment on their oilers or clutches in long bar use.

The oiler will keep up on a 32 in hard woods. If you are cutting a lot of sappy woods it may be on the light side.

My 28" Oregon lw bar is just a few ounces lighter than my 28" tsumura. There is a bar weight thread here somewhere and the sugis are the most heavy of the lw bars. I prefer the tsumura over the Oregon. Much more ridgid and looks better!

My stock 7910 will pull a full comp 28" bar no problem in oak. Bar buried. Ported should be no problem power wise for a 32 full comp chain. Just the oiler may not be up to it.

I'm starting to get used to that blue. Kinda growin on me a wee bit.
Your 7910 looks nice vwith either of those bars on her.
I do detest seeing the Makita name.

Thanks for all the replies, friends.
I'm pretty stoked having this saw coming into my arsenal.

I didn't like the blue ones either when I first saw them. But now if I had a makita I would want it to be blue. I would rather have the dolmar though.

If I had a blue Makita I'd take the stickers off. Let her run incognito.
Just the name on what is really still a Dolmar irks me.

I agree. They should have kept both names.
