The fuel tank on my Echo SRM-3000 Trimmer just recently cracked and the new replacement is now obsolete.
Anyone that can advise me either and new or used one, I would be very grateful. This trimmer still work great for me.
Thanks

Know what you're getting into- having recently avoided tossing a SRM-200DA from the '70s because of NLA parts. I'd suggest first that you find out the part #, and keep searching for one. The next option would be to obtain a plastic-welding tool, and see how that works. Clear the tank of all fuel vapors before any hot work, of course.
When I replaced my fuel tank a few years back, I built-up the tank retainers with silicone, to keep it from banging about. Should help its longevity.
Happy hunting, and welcome!

Maybe try Marinek epoxy answer red coat the inside afterward.
