Hello, I’m not sure where I should put this thread. I’m wanting to buy parts for a husqvarna 555rxt or 545rxt to convert a model available to me in Canada. I want it for my back as I’m tall and suffer from pain when using a short shaft version. Any overseas members that could give advice would be appreciated.

thanks

I hear you with the short shaft, my 265rx is short and gets to be painful to operate after about 5 hrs.

being 6’4” is nice for some things, but when I use a brush saw it’s usually way down on my thigh or I’m bending my knees for low stumps.

That’s what I don’t understand if your not commercial clearing in the bush a long shat is nice the rxt husky versions are string trimmers of the forestry saw but can be fitted with a blade, stihl makes a “L” suffix model as well but trying to get stihl parts is even worse. If I find a solution I will post.
I’m currently on a wait list with honey bros out of the uk. They will sell and ship to Canada a complete unit.

I would prefer parts to do a conversion.
