log splitter suctions hose

    what are you guys using on your wood splitter as a suction hose from tank to pump

    There is officially such a critter. Try a good NAPA store or big equipment place. I wouldn’t rely on the burger flipper flunky at TSC etc.

    Mines got a clear hose that has a coil spring inside of it. Like a vehicle radiator hose has got so it doesn't collapse.

    My home built I just used a section of pressure hose .The return line from the valve can be about anything because it's not under pressure .

    They will suck shut if it’s soft material or too small, particularly if there is a filter between the tank and the pump. When they do, flow stops and the pump cavitates. Given enough time it will ruin the pump.
