I have a home built log arch that I mess around with on weekends. Lost it a couple times, flipped itover more than a couple times.
Decided I need an offroad hitch that can articulate.
Here's what I came up with:

It's way too big for what I need. Could probably pull a Kenworth.

Very nice fabrication there sir. Are you double nutting or roll pin staking the nut? I'm sure you are well aware but as that oscillates it will try and back off the nut.

Ball hitch works well on mine, but I'm on pretty level ground.

I will use a nyloc nut for final assembly and install a steel pin behind the nut for a little insurance

The pic shows a log arch.
It doesn't appear to be at all self propelled.
Was inquiring as to what you pull it with.
