Afternoon, ladies and gentlemen
I don't winterize my stuff, and just go out and start it up every month or so. So today was the day, except it's been about 2 mos since starting. Running rough. She started OK, but just doesn't sound real energetic.
Plug is NGK plug, probably 3 or 4 years old, not a lot of use on it.
New Chinese commie coil in the spring of 2019.
Gas mixed a year and a half ago, with stabilizer in it.
New fuel line April 2020.

Suggestions?
I'm thinking to pitch the old gas, and dump in some pre-mix. or
Add a few mls of carb cleaner, or
Replace spark plug.
Any combination of the above.

Thanks in advance.

I like your avatar. I had a nurse friend at the pistol range the other day, so I had both.
PS: Thanks for the tit on the fresh gas. Did you ever notice how a .357 can make those girls shake?

Yes, sir. There are updates. Sorry for the delay, was on vaca in NC for Thanksgiving week. So, I added some $1.89 per bottle carb cleaner from Walmart, and it's running a lot better. Thanks for asking. You should try that stuff. Has lots of PEA and cleans well. Certainly is cheap enough.

Dub: In answer to your question, here's the deal - I put in fresh pre-mixed fuel, Red Armor (from Echo) along with an ounce of Gumout Regane. Problem solved. Running like new again. One pull and she's hot to trot.

If you haven't checked the exhaust ports lately, I've noticed that the center one starts to carbon up before the outside ones and before the real problems start. Usually just a few minutes to check... Great preventive maintenance if nothing else.

Do you clear the carbon with the piston out of the way?
