K041 to K095 mount

I got a echo 440evl that uses a K041 mount bar, what tools do i need to convert a K095 bar to work on it?

This will make interesting reading for me to as the Dolmar ps 420sc iv just got also has the K041 mount.
Have plenty of the K095 bars that fit most of my small bar mount Husqvarna saws so a mod would come in handy. Have looked at the 2 along side and on top of each other and it looks as though the bar adjuster /oiler hole needs elongating top to bottom (depending which way up you are looking/talking about) allowing the adjuster to sit in the hole. The existing small oil hole in K095 "May" not be a issue depending on the individual saws mounting surfaces.
I think a carbide burr is the tool il use as the bar will be hard and i want to elongate the hole not make it bigger all round .

You need to file up to the bar slot through the adjuster holes. The A041 oils through the adjuster holes.

Poss use a slitting disk to come down in between the bar rails was a thought I had to brake through for a oil way....Dunno , think doing a bar will be the way to learn what works best.

I do this one all the time. Even went backwards with a K041 to K095 so I could run a bar on my 346 357 one time.

K095 to K041 Elongate the bar tensioner hole out till breaks to inner bar rail for oiling.
