PAST July 21, 2018: 6 th annual Chisago county races at rush City, mn

It's another year of racing in Rush City at the chisago county fairgrounds!
This is an event open to the public, and this will be our 6th year[emoji3]
The race itself starts around 4:30, but we have to be in before the parade, which states at 3. Andy and I will be leaving our house 2pm sharp for anyone who wants would like to caravan up to the fair with us!

Last year we changed up the rules due to some feedback we received, but it didn't work out so well, so back to the basics on rules:
Classes will have stock and modified in classes based on size:
under 45cc
46-55
56-65
66-75
76-85
86 & over
Plaques to the winners
Head to head style
Play time after the classes

Modified class is anything from muffler mod to full port job then? Just trying to decide what saws to bring and if the old saws and new ones run in same class.

I would assume since its a race, that square ground or square filed chains would not be frowned upon.

I am pretty sure square chain is allowed in all classes.

If i remember correctly, stock can have a muffler mod, just no porting to the cylinder.

Ported would be in its own class, and then full on race saws would be in its own class.

So my 044 hybrid will run in the ported 76cc class saws. What about muffler mod and timing advance?

Folks,
Here's what I'll say in an attempt to answer questions:

1) we've never restricted chain style before, don't see a reason to now.
2) classes are going to be: stock and then modified. You use your judgement. If you only did a muffler mod, gasket delete, timing change, and a race chain and you want to race against a stock MS180 go ahead. This is all just for the fun of it, so feel free to go head to head with what and whoever you'd like til the wood is gone!
3) when it's all said and done- this is an amateur race set up. Try not to get worked up about it. We're just all trying to have a good time.[emoji6]

Sounds good, I know it’s just for fun and that works with running anything you want against whoever wants to race you. Looking forward to it and will be bringing my 064 stock dual port and my 044 hybrid for sure. Have to think of what else

Park and race near the livestock barns.
