SOLD JONSERED 910 CYLINDER

Like title states. Had a lil transfer that i got cleaned up pretty easily. 54mm smooth bore. Shiny spot in outside of exhaust port was me trying my new Chinese Craxtex wheels on the carbon build up. Exhaust bolt holes do have helicoils in them. Bolts seem to thread in nicely. I suppose if u wanted u could pick out the helicoils and put in time sertz. I know some guys frown on helicoils. Lets say $50 FnF or add 3%. Plus shipping.

Kinda hit and miss. All the 385 cylinders I've seen have them. Here's a couple from the shed.

I'd rather have them than not on these larger bore saws.

I learn something new every day! Makes sense, steel on steel is tougher than steel on AL

I have a 910 one of the muffler studs wasn't holding. time sert to the rescue I think it was common because of the long muffler bolts. I have another jug not on the saw I can check if that one had a helicoil in it may be they did come from the factory like that.

Still here? These things are just about made of unobtainium. I sold a guy a saw because he had the jug and I didn't.
