Jonsered 2188 I bought from Elect a few weeks ago. Bought a 661 the same day, knowing that I only needed one. The 2188 is smoother than the Stihl idling, but I'm just a Stihl fanboy I guess. The 2188 plate says 2015 and the saw is super clean, I only burnt about half a tank comparing it with the 661 at the wood pile.

Looking for 750 plus shipping. Or may trade for small saw, medium saw, bars or chains plus cash either way etc.

***OR***

I have an 044 that runs good, but has an aftermarket cylinder. I was told the saw was OEM, but that didn't turn out to be true. Has 165 psi compression and is clean. Not sure value on that, I know I paid too much, but if it sells I'd keep the red saw. It's the saw in my sig, if theres interest I'd have to get pictures.

I also just bought a new OEM piston/cylinder for that saw.

What are you looking for in a smaller saw?

Something that if I try and don't like I won't lose money. Honestly I had been eyeing a MMWS 261, but that's gone. Still rather new to a bunch of makes. Dolmar, Husqvarna, Jred all seem pretty nice. The 2188 is nice and smooth, I just like the 661 better.

I have a mmws 661 and it is very nice. Never had a mmws 2188 or even a stock one. Sure would like to try one some day.
