Scalpers on Ebay.
I do my best to keep all my purchases local, but no saw shop in a 100 mile radius sells Tsumura bars, so I look to Ebay and I find this guy: https://www.ebay.com/itm/401408712895?hash=item5d75d2e0bf:g:SnsAAOSweJ1ZwsNZ

Does this forum have a black list for Ebay/Amazon retailers who take part in scalping?

He is out of stock in that bar. It is very common practice to do that on ebay. It is apparently real difficult to remove and reinstate listings in an ebay store. They raise the price to an outrageous number so no one will buy it on purpose.

He has 100% rating, so I would say it’s a misprint, you can always contact the eBay seller directly and get the real price!

Probably just changed the price not the inventory. @Definitive Dave has spoke on why sellers do this in the past. You can probably dig up the information with the search function.

Good question for the seller, but, don't get all bunched up over it. The sellers have to play the ebay games. They are not out to prey on the stupid.

I believe Dave had a customer that bought one of those outrageously priced items. Shaking his head as he refunded his money and wrote the buyer a note with his reasons why

If you are wanting a tsumura bar, post a wanted add in the sales section. I'm sure someone has one they will let go of at a reasonable price. That's how I got all of mine.
