Interesting article. If his design has eliminated roller bearings, then he must be using four-stroke style main bearings in conjunction with the high-pressure oiling system.

That's what I thought too Jacob. Makes sense using the 800 v twin 4 stroke crank off a Suzuki. Gota give the guy credit for Frankensteining it together. Although, judging by the vid, it doesn't look like its fully functional yet.

I've thought of some different designs like a super charger, with an intake poppet valve and several little exhaust ports around the bottom of the cylinder like a reverse Detroit.

Also I had given some thought to a cylinder ported rotating sleeve 2 stroke. Normally a rotating sleeve engine is a 4 stroke with a rotary valve on top.

Not like my ideas are particularly special, just more unique-ish designs.
