My Mech just told me parts aren't available, not sure what yet, had a lot of blowby. What gives? Haven't looked online yet myself or anything. Aftermarket? @Onan18 ?

Thanks

It wasn't uncommon for the head gasket to crack out between the cylinder and pushrod galley.
Something to check out and less invasive than rings.
He’s got it in pieces already, rings and all gaskets and seals ordered methinks

Pretty much standard practice on the commands is to use a glaze breaker ball hone with new rings and a new style head gasket and it will be good to go.

Love those Command engines and the k series.I think my 15 hp vertical Command has required a spark plug, and a needle and seat, and lots of fresh synthetic oil (1998). Rebuilding the K series, I just replace the exhaust valve, piston and rings, governor and mill the cylinder head.Tough little boogers.Running a spare MSD 6A for ignition, lol.
