I need to time a Tecumseh engine and need a Tecumseh 670241 Timing gauge. Any of you got one? Thanks

Some of those old engines gave timing it was suppose to fire at in measurements before top dead center .You do the same with a timing wheel most being 26 to 30 degrees before . Just another option

Thanks, Al. The last I knew of timing wheels was in hot Rod magazine when we all had crew cuts and rolled the Camels up in our t shirt sleeves. I need to check on a source for a timing wheel suitable for a small engine.

I've made them ,it's not that hard to do .I use mylar adhesive transfer compasses from McMaster -Carr at about 8-10 bucks a pop and a round aluminum disc . This is a 6" left hand rotation .You can however search the net and print a compass on printer paper and do the same thing .Use a piece of stiff cardboard for a backer .
