I have checked all my suppliers and nothing yet! I can't get the new Oregon chain though. I would sure like to try that new husky chain.

I’m not sure I figured if cut that much faster it might be a nk with3/8 pitch. I haven’t found any pics of it. It is really amazing how much faster the nk is in .325. I wish they made it in chisel not just semi chisel it really would be fast.

I've got a couple loops. It's the new chain that will come standard with the 572. None of my local dealers have stocked it yet.

I've been planning a write up on it. The .325 is available on eBay from some guys. The 3/8 may be out soon.

Do you have any pics of it beside a standard 3/8 chisel chain?

Sure... From my understanding this chain is made by Husky, not Husky branded but made by Oregon.

Addition of an oil groove on the flywheel side, 0.25mm taller cutter and factory grind are some of the more noticeable differences when compared with the Oregon chain pictured.

Gullet shape and factory grind reminds me of square file technique, except with a round ground cutter. The gullet shape makes the Oregon chain appear taller.

Thanks the grind angle looks steeper on the x chain. Looks similar to the Oregon speed cut nk chain. Took me a while to figure out how to file it right.

I've started square filing another loop of it. For round general sharpening, I find the file glides pretty effortlessly across dull undamaged cutters.

It's got a different alloy on the cutter. Maybe higher in chrome content.

I cut a lot of junk with the other loop on the first three sharpenings. I hit a piece of cement lodged in the bark of tree and hit dirt on a stump I was cutting.

It was pretty easy to get the cutters back to shape in the field--no vise, no clamp...just sharpened on the bar.

I believe this is a NK chain, as the cutter width is about 0.15mm more narrow than the Oregon chain in the pic.

EDIT: Both chains pictured are 3/8, not .325.

Yes, it is made by Husqvarna. There is the SP33 which is a narrow kerf .325 chain, and a C85, which is a 3/8 chain.
In cutting tests it is faster than the old Husqvarna chain. Lots of video reviews on it

One thing to note, however, is that the C85 chains are only 0.058 gauge. So if you have a .050 or .063 bar it won't work.

On box it is wtiten 30° and 0° with 5,5mm file. But on new chain it does not fit.

C83 is .050 gauge, that's what came on my 572. It is very smooth cutting chain,

@Spike60

anyone know when Husqvarna will be selling their new 3/8 X-cut chain state-side?
My local dealer has it, but with a price tag of $30 for a 72 dl loop. Needless to say I don't have any.

Yes, @redlight066 has some. Its excellent chain.
I have a loop of the c85 that I tryed and it is the fastest cutting chain I have used out of the box but is to expensive compared to carlton and is slightly dearer than stihl chain here in nz
