Head Forester on my estate swears by them. Good flex for forestry work. Not as good for climbing apparently.

Are the soles a cushy kind of foam rubber? I need cushy boots. I haven't found any yet. All I've seen have a super hard rubber.

From the pictures they look like a softer sole, definitely more so than the schoens I'm used to
The Astra's? Pretty much, but they're toast now. Schoen 1000 Pros are no longer available either. Nor are Bison Kauri. For a forestry country the footwear options leave a bit to be desired.

That's cheap for Tech 24s. Got a link bro?
Ah tech 24s. I think it was classic 20 can't seem to share a link looked at them on Husqvarna.co.nz.
I've had 3 pairs of schoen 1100 pro's and haven't been too impressed with how long they last and the weight.
Do you know if these classic 20s are any good?

Hi Another Adam!
Thanks for that. No climbing for me except of ladders occasionally.

I wish I had tried on a pair of technical 24's. I have some arbortec scafell lites. They are nice. But they just don't flex all that much. Which is fine is you are doing tree surgery. But walking the woods they get a bit tiresome

I have some Tech 24s in the post. I'll report back once I've put some miles on them.

I've got Swede pro boots from gempler's in Wisconsin. I love em, depending how steep the ground is I get one to two years but I don't wear them in snow
