I’ve used this before, but not the X-cut it works decent, it’s square skip , https://www.ebay.com/itm/2043412898...lx6FfZ4S9a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPYHas anyone tried any of the factory square ground Husqvarna chain? I didn't even know it existed until this morning:

If they offered it in standard sequence, I might order a roll to give it a try. Being they only have it in skip, I thought I might try a 114dl loop and see how it does.I’ve used this before, but not the X-cut it works decent, it’s square skip , https://www.ebay.com/itm/2043412898...lx6FfZ4S9a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

You sharpened a loop of that for me 18 months ago. Worked great until it came off the bar in a chain throwing incident and 6+ drive links are damaged beyond repair. It was a 28“ loop and i‘d like to see if I could take those out and make it 25“. H83 was their number for it.Has anyone tried any of the factory square ground Husqvarna chain? Have not tried thier factory square but C85 filed square is the peak of clean wood chains for me.
I'll die on this hill - Husky chain is the best stuff out there now. I have had quality issues with Stihl and Oregon lately while the husky chains just work from new untill the end. I just need to them to start making 404
Any photos of your teeth/depths?I've been running the C83 Full Chisel a little while now. I like the chain but it doesn't seem very durable with my "big" saw.
I've sheared off a few cutters in dry standing White ash and Rock Maple.
The teeth were ground down to about 1/2 original length and the "big" saw is a monkeyed 500i with a 7 pin.
It did fine with a monkeyed Stihl 440. The 500 must be a little too zippy.
