Had this gem come in on trade, runs but will not idle down. Definitely needs new crank seals, but I think this one is worthy of a complete restoration.

Not too bad overall.

This is my first TOMOS saw.

Air filter cover has seen better days.

Much better, anyone have a nice one they would be willing to part with?

Or a nice rear handle maybe?

Muffler isn't too bad.

Air filter and intake components will clean up nice.

And here is why I believe this saw is worthy of a full restoration, I have never seen one with a functioning chain brake.

Clutch cover is cracked but should be repairable.

IMG_2664.JPG Joe, will any of this help? You can have whatever you need. I have a spare clutch cover somewhere...... Evidently my organizational skills aren't as good as I thought. Lol. I am in need of a SEM ignition coil for an L77 if anybody has one

My Dad is 77 years old, had 4 bypasses and has a pacemaker/defibulator now, but I think Im gonna go by and kick his butt today! JUST KIDDING, but through the years we have had multiples of these and other saws that you folks now would love to have to restore. He has hauled them all to the dump or gave them away in the last 5 decades. As loggers, we didn't have time or the resources available now to fool with rebuilding saws so when they died they got kept around a few years if we had multiples and when those died and got replaced with models that lacked parts interchange ability they got disposed of.

Let me know if you don't find what you are looking for. I have a complete parts saw that ran with a little juice in the carb if you are interested in it. I would make you a reasonable deal.
