Very nice looking 288xp have no need for a saw this size I traded my old beat up strong running 066 for this saw that was rebuilt a few months back including a new piston unfortunately it is aftermarket the on off is aftermarket aswell as he mufffler know where there is a good oem but he wants 40 seems steep 1 of the stickers he said I believe the xp sticker. Besides that jug is oem saw has good compression only been ran to test it out and has been sitting since carb was rebuilt seal installed af currently on it is a low top setup I do have the elbow for the Hightop and will include sale. New old stock sprocket and recoil covers all working like it should. Will be away for a few days as its the weekend but will still. Be able to answer questions just can't ship till probably Tuesday If there are any bites on this saw. 550 us shipped paypal

Thanks, anyone else have trouble with signing up for arborist site the captcha thing wouldn't work for me was told these two sites would be the place to sell this by a local and I tried the other site a bunch aswell no luck. Hope that's not a swear word mentioning a different site here.. and if my price seems out of line somebody say so I just did a quick search and figured it sounded fair

I didn't build this one I just cleaned it up.. I'm thinking meteor cause from what I could see when I pulled the muffler it looked like a really good am.. however could put an oem in if that is an issue for buyer just would need a bit xtra and 3 days time.. anyways the price is obo it runs strong looks clean and is a nice saw I've always been a stihl guy the 066 I traded was rough but no husky dealership where the po is thus some am parts again could make all oem muffler on off and piston I could change out if a collector is interested.

I've used raisman top ends quit a bit actually they are pretty damn good never heard them mentioned before and I was impressed by the cylinder casting even. is there a way to even indicate what bramd pistons by marking from the am supplier or? Ive always built saws but i couldnt turn this trade down. Stihl 066 that sat and got sun-baked for how long then some hack spray painted the thing for this clean girl seemed like a no brainer. I'll be in Surrey Thursday

not familiar w/am markings. ks & mahle are usually marked.
got a golf piston for 2100. it looked bad n needed some grindin on pin bosses to fit. was gonna be used for millin. have never heard back from him.
the raisman stuff came from mike acres, and looked good.
couple meteor pistons ive used also looked good. one is in a 10mm 044 that is stihl here.
