I am rebuilding a Husqvarna 55 I recently found for a friend of mine. He just recently went though a nasty divorce and is finally getting back to his house (and shop), so this will be a shop-warming gift for him. He loves Husky saws and turning carb screws (he used to build rotary engines for Mazda race cars) and has been wanting a 50cc saw for a while so this will work perfect for him.
I am looking for a fuel tank and top cover for the saw, both need to be serviceable but don't have to look pretty. I have all the parts for the rear handle (trigger, spring, fuel line, fuel cap...etc) so if you have a bare rear handle that works too.
I am open to a parts saw too, does not need to run, the piston and cylinder can even have special racing stripes on the exhaust side! Really dirty saws/parts are welcome too, I am more than happy to give them a bath!
I saw that @irhunter has a rear handle and case for sale here in the forum, but has not yet responded to a PM.
Thanks!

Case assembly, including crank. $15
Tank/rear handle. Stripped, $15
I have no Hx with this saw, never ran it. Bearings feel tight. But, crank bearings may feel a bit gritty.
Prices do not include shipping from 04441. I only have access to USPS retail.
Will post more pics, if anyone is interested.
