Hey guys

Had a quick question, what's the history on the 372 ? Was it a different cc saw years back and it was upgraded to a bigger size ?

Depends, are you talking non-xtorq or xtorq saws. x torq 365 and 372's are same, only difference is baffles in 365's transfers, both 70cc. saws. Non has 365/371/372/375 on same lower end. 371 has no gussets in clutch side case, 372 has 2 gussets. 365 is a one ring piston. 371 came in one ring and two ring pistons. non epa 372 has one ring also, epa 372 two rings, depends on year of production. Do not take this as gospel, just what I have seen. Sure others know a lot more.

They've always been 71cc's, with the exception of the 75cc version which was made for two or three years. The 75cc saw borrowed the top end from the 375k cutoff saw and there are a few saws out there with a 375 decal.
You'll notice "XPW" on the 75cc saw, but... not all XPW saws are 75cc because the "W" is typically a code for west coast builds which included full wrap bars and larger spikes.
