Anyone have or could take a couple pictures of how the throttle is setup on a 357xp for me. I am working on one that was missing a bunch of pieces but now I can't seem to see how the throttle is ever going to work. Any help would be appreciated. I think the throttle rod is bent wrong but I am not sure

Got the 357 back together enough to test start... Of course it wouldn't have spark why would anything be simple. Anyone know what coil is good? Anyone using aftermarket or just oe?

I've used a some aftermarket ones with only one giving me a problem but if you can find a 350, 353, 359, 372, 385 or 390 one, I'd go that route.

You would be looking for a black unlimited coil. 357 and 346s are high rpm saws in stock form. Did you disconnect ground wire and check spark. If you painted case, may need to remove paint from mounting area to get good ground.

Yes they are same shape and mounting location. All will work, but have different limiting. Usually stamped on coil.

Old one black? If blue does it have a black ring under cap at end of spark plug wire connecting to coil. No limiting number on coil?
