SOLD Husqvarna 288xp

Selling a 288xp. Nice saw, not mint obviously but not a dog. Traded for this saw and some other 288’s from a gentleman not far from where I live. When I got the saw it needed a new fuel line and fuel filter which I replaced. I also swapped out the original Tillotson for a new 228C.

I cut the .025 off the base to set squish at .020. I raised the uppers. KS non-decomp cylinder with finished port timing of Ex. 100, Tr. 119, In. 73.

I should be able to do some cutting this weekend and post video. I’ll also post piston/compression/air filter pictures.

450 is pretty dang cheap. Either way, I’d think it won’t be around long

I agree with you Deeter about $450 being cheap. Time to move some of these saws along to folks who will use them. Right now most of these saws I’ve got I just walk by them and occasionally look at them. I’ve got a shelf full of 288’s and builder 288’s. Tubs full of parts. Time to offload them and some 1122 saws/builders.
