Selling one of my favorite saws.

Has the KS cylinder and HDA87 carby.
Meteor piston. New Oem crank seals and o- rings. Clean saw. No dings, cracks or melting of the plastics. Saw has about 10 tanks of fuel through it since I rebuilt it. I did open up the stock muffler outlet. Stock otherwise.

Buyer pays shipping. Power head only.

I have a 257 or i would be interested.
I'm keeping my 2 series they are getting to hard to replace.

There is no comparison. Stihl has no answer to the 262. They are a beast of their own.

if you are raising an 044 to the 262, I could raise you a 372 to your 044.

I am not a brand snob. i like them all for the most part.

262 is 62cc, 361 is 59cc??? But the 361 is slightly overbuilt from what I understand. Somewhat like the 262.

i believe you are correct.

I've never been into a 361...

But, i do know that the 361 has a quad port cylinder like some huskys. interesting eh

Since the 361 borrowed a lot of it's design from husky, quad ports, spring AV, I would say they should be close.
