I have a Husqvarna 261 in the shop that I'm going to put the flat top piston in and port the cylinder. The question I have is that when I put the 3 shoe 262xp clutch on it I don't have the washer for it. It is a NLA part. Does anyone have the dimensions of one so I can make one?

Wow that was fast. When I swapped to the 3 shoe clutch on mine the saw felt stronger. Didn’t slip and stall as easy. The 2 shoe was kind of smoked to, it came from a tree company

Yes, we do have trees in Wyoming.

If I recall correctly, you maybe able to use a 357/359 clutch with out the washer.

This is what I ended up doing with my 261-262 conversion (261.5XP...lol). Used an aftermarket 357/359 3 shoe clutch. Works great.

Do you Need a Special socket for the 357 clutch, or just a Socket like the Factory 262 clutch ???
Thanks

The 357 clutch doesn't have a hex for a standard socket but does at least have 'pockets' in each weight for a screwdriver/scrench to sit in where a sharp rap will usually loosen it. Otherwise then, yes you would need a special tool/modified socket.

And if so, What's the Part ###, second question is What part ### is the Husky Wrench that Fits that Oddball A / V bushings on 266, 268, 272 saws??? I have the Two Sizes that fit The Mighty 288.

357/359 clutch is bolt on, the washer must not be used.
555/556/560/562 clutch is also bolt on, but the washer must be used there.

The difference between these two clutch types is the clutch hub itself. On 357, the clutch shoes are built from the crank, while the 562 clutch has a completely flat hub, just like the 262 has.
