I'm building a really clean 261 to 262. The cylinder cover is muffler melted.

Also I'm interested in a good, complete HDA 87 since I'm using a KS on this build. PM with pic and price please.

I’ve got a couple of 87’s here. They’d need rebuilds.

Nothing wrong with using that jug.

Ball hones tend to ruin jugs IMHO, I’d avoid personally.

I understand the pros and cons of a ball hone. I think. Sometimes I use a hone, sometimes scotch brite pads. Really depends on the conditions and what I hope to accomplish.
Nikasil in that cylinder is super tough.
I barely scratched it.
I agree about using the ZK3. I see no issues with cooling.
