For sale. This saw runs good except for the carburetor. It’s worn out. You can set the needles where they need to be and the saw runs great for about 20min. Then the idle speed screw and the idle mixture screw back out making it so rich you can’t keep it running. It’s a shame too. The saw cuts like crazy.
I replaced the crank seal on the pto side and realized it needed another seal behind the clutch to cover the oil pump. Haven’t done that yet. Also, the manual oil pump will stick after sitting but comes to life after one massive hard push. It’s missing one of the internal tits holding the air cleaner cover on, but it’s secure and one of the holes for the top cover is wallowed out.
That’s about it. Like I said, when you get it all going at once, it’s an awesome saw. Vintage heavy iron.

Amazing price for a big un. Could the adjusters be held in place with low strength threadlocker? It should stop them vibrating loose. And allow them to be removed in future.
I was thinking of trying Super Glue…but blue thread locker would be a better option if it works.
