That is a beauty, I have an SG version that's pretty clean but nothing like this.

What leads you to the '80 production year? I was somehow under the impression they were introduced in '81.

Hopefully it came with the clutch cover....?

Yes sir it came with a clutch cover. Please let me know your thoughts on the tag. Looked like 1980 to me. Thanks for the input.DSCF1035.JPG

Generally the silver tags have no date reference, with the exception of a small number with the full year stamped in, not printed on.
Not sure on this tag but that particular style is always the same, I've never seen 3899/81 or 82.

The only significant difference I see between my 133 and yours (besides se/sg) is the muffler setup, mine has the round spigot outlet and smaller front bracket like on the 234/238/242 saws. Could be just a regional market regulation type thing or maybe yours is earlier.

Wow, I've been on the hunt for a 133 for my collection for years now and have never been able to find one.
