Noticed difference in hole sizes for 262xp, 262xp and 288xp saws, I understand why but would like to know if I can drill out a small hole or add a second hole for a larger saw? Option is to get correct one for each.
Thanks,
Tom

Yes, you can drill out the hole so the button lets more air out. Or you can swap them out for the decomps from a bigger saw. I had an ms261 that was very feisty to start after getting ported. I put a decomp from a 395xp in it and it was a huge improvement.

Thanks, will try to enlarge hole with drill press and vice and if things go astray, will find larger cc saw decomp valve.
