Probably lol. I got the jug from DDave and had all these high hopes.

Now I'm just scrambling to get the garage cleared

Is the piston readily available for this conversion or can you use the Husky piston? Thanks.

I have no idea what piston is used unfortunately.

The 50 and 5000 are both 44 mm, but the 50 piston is a full skirt , 5000 is windowed for the side fed cylinder.

I drilled holes in the original 50 piston, on either side of wrist pin, its held up so far but its not a daily use saw either. Idk if LRB has a piston or not

This is one where you can open up the bottom of the lowers to match the crankcase when using a side skirted piston, makes it bottom fed.
Pretty easy grinding job, one of the few porting procedures I can think of where even a hoof rasp would be doable, seriously...
