Need some advice on how to charge a customer of mine. I've been trying to get his KM90R running properly. Last fall I did a carb and clutch which appeared to have it running okay. Brings it back to me with same complaint of not idling. Found leaky crank seals which I believe was the issue all along. So how should I charge him?

If you truly believe that was the problem all along, I'd charge him for the seals and comp the labor. Let him know why and go from there. I'm sure they'll appreciate the honesty.

Much appreciated. I'll have it back together tomorrow and will see if resealing the block with new crank seals did the trick. If so he'll be into it for about $40 for a seal kit and plug.
