How much better is a 242xp than a 42?

So I have now what is two very clean 42 specials, large recoil decal and grey not black handles etc. One is stock and the other is muffler modded, squish decked, timing advanced.

My question is how much better will a 242xp be?

This modded 42 is already my go to saw for anything small as it's such a joy. I like it more than my now sold 545 and the likes. Obvs it has it limits when you have to change up a few cc's.

Is it really worth investing in a 242xp OEM kit? I have found a place selling them in the UK.

Cheers.

I have a hard time seeing a big difference between the two. I was happy with the 42 Special, but couldn’t pass up a chance at a 242.
